MARISA HISAKI UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN COLORADO BEARS The Bears finished third as a team at the Big Sky Conference Championships, as BGGA alumni Hisaki shot a final round even- par 72 and finishing the tournament with 2-over, 218 for a tie for fifth. She closed out the tournament strong with birdies on the 13th, 15th and 16th hole to shoot a 2-under 34 on the back nine. The top 5 finish by Hisaki earned her All-Tournament team honors. MAMI YAMAMOTO TEXAS TECH RED RAIDERS BGGA alumni Yamamoto closed her Tech tenure with a 75.1 career stroke average, which ranks eighth all-time in program history. “Mami’s been great,” Tech head coach JoJo Robertson said. “She’s going to be hard to replace. It’s kind of nice when you have somebody who has been around for four years and you can count on them. Every time we’re on the course, we always know Mami has it taken care of. She’s as steady as can be and fights so hard.
