STUDENT ACCOLADES TEAGAN DEVOE VERBALLY COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF HARTFORD Bishops Gate Golf Academy student Teagan Devoe verbally committed to University of Hartford. Devoe, from Dallas, TX, has been a student at BGGA since her sophomore year. “I am extremely excited and blessed to announce my verbal commitment to play Division I golf for the University of Hartford!” said Devoe. “Thank you so much to everyone who made my dreams a reality. I couldn’t have done it without you.” MARC DEJULIO COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF LYNCHBURG Bishops Gate Golf Academy student-athlete Marc DeJulio signed a National Letter of Intent to play golf at University of Lynchburg (D1) in fall 2019. DeJulio, from Waltham, MA, has been a student at BGGA since 2017. “We are extremely excited for the addition of Marc to the Hornet golf family this fall! His enthusiasm, great attitude, positive mindset, and overall game are going to make an influential impact on the team from the first tee shot! He is a key part of this potent recruiting class and we look forward to watching him develop into a powerful and consistent player and leader within the program.” Since 2014-15, the Hawks have finished third-or-better among team leaderboards at nine events.
