Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)

surprise to see an adaptation of the third
film, Dark of the Moon. Following their
success with War for Cybertron, High
Moon took over development of the film
series. The game itself was very similar to
its successors but focused on telling the
story leading up to the Dark of the Moon
film. It is essentially a prequel to the events
that take place it its movie counterpart.
Transformers: Prime - The Game
(2012) Nintendo DS, 3DS, Wii, Wii U
Based on the most recent animated series,
Prime, this game diverged slightly from
the Transformers titles of the time in
that it was a brawler focused on melee
combat, as opposed to the shooter style
employed by other games. A Nintendo
exclusive that failed to find the success of
the movie tie-ins or High Moon games.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
(2012) PC, PS3, Xbox 360
High Moon’s final Transformers game
designed as a successor to War for
Cybertron. As with that game, it was reviewed
and sold well. It developed the story of
the game series and improved upon the
multiplayer element of War for Cybertron.
