The Transformers (1985) Sinclair Spectrum, Commodore 64 The very first Transformers videogame was released during the second series of the original animated programme in 1985. It was a relatively low-budget platformer developed for the two major consoles of the time and posed a self-contained robo-cloning story featuring five of the most famous Autobots as playable characters.
