Cox Charities Scholarships

ox Charities awards college scholarships to graduating

high school seniors across California, including San Diego, Orange County, Palos Verdes, and Santa Barbara. From science and engineering to business and the arts, these Cox Scholars are pursuing careers that incorporate their passion for giving back to their community, and Cox is proud to support them.

In 2018, Cox Charities will be awarding more than $100,000 to seniors within the community. As a company founded on innovation, they’re inspired to support the next generation of innovators who demonstrate a passion for learning and a desire to pursue higher education.

To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, seniors must fit the following criteria:

• High school senior in Southern California who lives in a Cox

service area

• Enrolling full-time at an accredited two or four-year

university in the U.S.

• Have a GPA between 3.0 and 4.0

• Active involvement in extracurricular activities, community

service, or work experience

• Demonstrate financial need

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident

To the multiple divisions who are currently working on grants or who have recently submitted a proposal, at this moment, Funding and Partnership Services is waiting to hear from funders on nine different grants and are currently working on six proposals! Funding and Partnership Services wants to thank all of our colleagues in Instructional Services, Special Education, ACCESS, and Community and Student Support Services on all your dedication to the projects.
