social media pages for notices and mark your
calendars. Whether you give online, through
the mail, or by phone, all donations on Giving
Tuesday will be matched (up to $2 million) and
deployed as quickly as possible toward the next
scientific breakthrough.
“It doesn’t matter what you give: $10 million
or $10. It goes a long way,” says Wilson. “I put
myself and my name out there because I know
it will improve research and treatments, and
hopefully it will encourage others to come out
with their support. There are so many people
who are going through this so if you have the
ability to do something, do it!”
