The Michael J. Fox
Foundation (MJFF)
unveiled a complete
redesign of its
online home base —
michaeljfox.org.
Our new look and feel brings an
improved user experience for patients,
families and researchers to better connect
visitors with critical information on living with
Parkinson’s and opportunities to get involved
in the Foundation’s mission to eliminate
Parkinson’s disease (PD).
The new website, the first overhaul since 2012,
aims to provide the Foundation’s more than
342,000 monthly unique visitors with an easy-
to-navigate online destination for both mobile
and desktop users.
+ Real talk from patients and volunteers
about joining clinical studies and being an
active participant in pursuit of a cure
+ Better grant application experience to
connect the research community with
funding opportunities to speed scientific
breakthroughs
+ A new “Take Action” section to help
patients and families engage in speeding a
cure in a variety of ways
“Whether you’re newly diagnosed or years into
your life with Parkinson’s, there is a hunger
for more information,” says Patient Council
Co-Chair Bret Parker. “Patients and families
are constantly seeking trustworthy updates
and educational resources and ways to get
involved. MJFF takes seriously the obligation
to create these resources and make it easier for
patients and families to find them.”
