convey with the shots that
will do, and be able to study
a makeup so in tune with
his project. At this point I
choose the makeover that I
consider most appropriate,
and illustrate the photogra-
pher my idea, possibly
showing him pictures of
similar tricks. The combina-
tion of makeup, hairstyling,
sets and lights must be har-
monious and consistent
with the notion that the pho-
tographer wants to convey,
everything has to be func-
tional to an idea, to a pur-
pose. Before accepting a
job, even I rate the rele-
vance of the project under
an artistic point of view, and
possibly that has social rel-
evance.

3) The most challenging part
on being a Make Up Artist?
Ans) A very challenging and
important aspect of the
makeup artist work is dialogue,
to understand what a customer
wants, and be able to explain
clearly what are the results ob-
tained, and the benefits of any
alternative that I propose,
since it does not always the
customers have clear what is
possible through the makeup
and the final effect of the dif-
ferent tricks.Equally important
is the constructive dialogue
with the photographer and
stilyst, to be able to jointly cre-
ate a beautiful image, as each
professional has its final image
in the mind, and each has dif-
ferent skills and notional basis,
you have to be able to make
concerted.
