The Fashion Identity Edition:41
Which is the most difficult cuisine to
prepare? What are the challenges
preparing it? What do you think is the
most challenging ingredient to work
with........?
Ans) For me, baking is a bit challenging
as the end product depends on exact
measurements, techniques and baking
temperatures etc.. I love experimenting
with recipes even as I am making them
and baked dishes sometimes have to be
followed exactly according to the recipe.
When was the first time that you fell
in love with cooking?
Ans) My mother, Mrs. Vaijayanti Rege,
taught cooking classes in Pune, India
and published two cookbooks in
Marathi. She was an amazing cook and
a fabulous teacher. When I moved to US
and started cooking her recipes, I real-
ized I have a passion for cooking too.
A special recipe from you, you
want our readers to try......
Ans) My recent post for Dal
Vada with a healthy twist has
been very popular among my
readers. I am happy to share
that with your readers here.

What is your favorite food memory?
What would be your Funniest kitchen
incident?
Ans) I grew up with the family sitting to-
gether around a table enjoying the meal,
so to me those are fond memories. My
funniest and scariest incident when I
was focused on broiling the most succu-
lent and tasty chicken and the oven
caught fire. It was scary then but looking
back on it, I cannot help but laugh as my
focus was on saving that chicken and
was not worried about the house burn-
ing down
Any conscious awareness you would
like to create among food lovers?
Ans) My motto with sharing recipes on
Indfused is to streamline recipes, make
them accessible and healthy without
compromising on taste.
