a cost of £1,000 as “farmers
just wouldn’t buy them!”
Now we have long passed
the £100,000 mark for
certain new tractors – which
may have shocked Chris –
but the latest models now
have a spec,functionality
and efficiency beyond his
- and even Geoff’s, earlier
dreams.
At 78, Geoff is testament to
the longevity and commitment
of this family team as he is still

working full time and even on
Wednesdays (his ‘day off’) he
frequently can be found up at
the Wigton branch.
