from her back garden. She
had just three Highlands, 30
chickens, three fattening pigs
and a freezer full of meat.
Jonathan came back to help
her with the animals and what
started as a friendship grew
into something more.
After discussing Jonathan’s
dream of creating a farm on
the hill, they decided to go
for it and in 2006, applied
for planning permission for
two statics and a portacabin
as temporary agricultural
accommodation to place next
to a cowshed. They had to wait
