When I visited Thorntree I was witness to the extraordinary relationship Tanya has with all but one of the herd . They all flock to her when she enters the yard not least because she gives them the very best of treats ( despite their vet advising not to overdo it ). Simmental that just doesn ’ t like Tanya and the feeling is mutual so , according to Stuart , both treat each other with mutual grudging respect . Tanya is keen to prove to all that Limousin ’ s are not as wild as people say . She is proud to say they produce quiet cows .
