New product ranges from Wolfenden Concrete prove a hit with beef and dairy farmers at the Great Yorkshire Show
AT the much-anticipated highlight of this year ’ s agricultural calendar , and in a new collaboration with EASYFIX , Wolfenden launched their portable cubicle beds , together with the new combination of Wolfenden ’ s slats with EASYFIX matting .
Richard Moody , Wolfenden ’ s managing director , comments ,
“ The new cubicle beds were a definite talking point , and it was great for farmers to get a real hands-on feel for them and see the benefits for their herds . Fortunately , we know the new products are as sturdy as they are flexible – just as well , as they were heavily-tested in Harrogate ! Similarly , the rubber mats together with our concrete slats helped farmers who ’ d never seen them before get a proper sense of how apparently simple but really effective this combination is .”
Wolfenden ’ s SUPA GREEN ultralow carbon cow housing and slurry management systems attracted lots of interest , and covered slurry storage , aeration and acidification were hot topics at the Show . Wolfenden are at the forefront of slurry management development and the new collaboration means that EASYFIX compressed air injection technology can be incorporated into Wolfenden ’ s own advanced SUPA slurry management systems – all designed to improve herd welfare while reducing ammonia emissions .
