» ONE OF THE KEYS TO SUCCESSFUL

is Siromer Tractors. Not only do they have

YOUR ONE STOP SHOP
HARROWS
There are two types of harrows - the
Power Harrow and the Disc Harrow. Both
rotate top soil and stubble ready for
planting; however, the methods they use to
achieve this are slightly different due to the
type of blades.
• Power Harrows - designed with steel
blades that are horizontally placed on
rotors which aggressively churn the
soil whilst keeping dormant weeds
undisturbed. With a dig depth of 6 inch
it is perfect for seedbed preparation.
To finish a roller gently levels the
aerated soil making it the ideal tool
for landscapers and local authorities.
Siromer has two models: S53 1.3m
incorporates 12 blades and requires
a horsepower of 24 - 50hp, priced at
£1450+VAT or the larger S57 1.7m which

has 16 blades and is best suited for the
40 - 50hp range, £1850+VAT
• Disc Harrows - like the power harrow it
prepares the soil to give good aeration
prior to planting. The use of offset 16
inch blades provides a finer tilth from
the topsoil, as it turns the stubble,
whilst at the same time this robust
tool will chop unwanted weeds and
crop remainders. There are two sizes
available: S74 1.3m has 16 discs and
requires 20 - 40hp - £550+VAT and S76
1.7m incorporates 18 discs and is suited
to 30 - 50hp tractors, £740+VAT
LANDSCAPE RAKES
If you’re a landscaper or have a large
lawned area that requires attention then
a landscape rake is a great tool to have. It
works by the tines digging into the soil and
pulling out anything that isn’t dirt, leaving
a top coat of soil ready for seeding. If you
have a lawn that isn’t performing well and
needs re-working then a landscape rake
will do the job easily.
Siromer rakes are easily attached using
the CAT 1 3 point linkage, which will have
you up and running in no time.
In addition to soil preparation a
landscape rake can be used to level
ground, spread compost or bark chippings,
collect manure, wasted hay and leaves - the
loose material is collected into windrows for
easy pick up.
Siromer has two models to choose
from: S90 1.5m - £380+VAT and S91 1.8m £395+VAT
