The show was as popular as ever with
livestock exhibitors, attracting some of the
area’s finest animals.
Mrs Nicholson said: “This year, the
livestock section boasted a new set of
classes specially designed for shorthorn
cattle exhibitors. And as well as a highly
regarded cattle section, the livestock
area also included some really excellent
examples of sheep, goats and pigs.”
The 2014 Driffield Show saw the
welcome return of the crowd’s favourite
heavy horse classes, These gentle
giants are unsurprisingly a big hit with
visitors, who love to see the painstaking
preparations the horses undergo prior to
the showing;.

Mrs Nicholson said: “The Driffield
