SUN SHINES ON THE
CROWDS AT 139TH
DRIFFIELD SHOW
The sunshine was an added bonus for the the
139th Driffield Show which took place on 16 July,
and which was - as organisers had predicted one of the busiest in years with around 25,000
people coming along to enjoy a splendid day.
Derek Lamplough, president of the
Driffield Agricultural Society, said:
“For a start we have been blessed
with a lovely day. The Driffield Show
is always an absolutely marvellous
show and a tremendous day out for
all the family.”

This year, the organisers pulled out all
the stops, with more than 500 stalls and
a vast range of activities, displays and
demonstrations.
