ANDY Lanczak, Sales and
Product Technical Support has
been with Tama 21 years. Coming
from a farming background Andy
has an understanding of what
is required in crop baling and
has a good knowledge of balers.
Tama and Andy have supported
Rickerby for the last 10 years and
has developed a first class rela-
tionship with the Rickerby Parts
staff across their eight branches.
This enables him to be in the
best position to offer advice on
crop baling solutions directly
with farmers and contractors no
matter what baler machine they
may have.
Andy attends the Rickerby
show held at the beginning of
March every year at the main
site in Carlisle. Tama has a trade
stand there which displays their
crop baling solutions and Andy
is on hand throughout each
show to answer questions and
offer advice. Getting the crop
baling solution right first time
will ensure a better kept crop
and keeps downtime, waste and
costs to a minimum, ensuring
maximum value from your
crops.
The saying “any twine will
do” just doesn’t cut it anymore.
Crop, knotters, balers, and bale
density have all changed over
the years and so must the crop
baling products needed to meet
and exceed the requirements
of farmers and contractors.
The same applies with netwrap

for” ringing very true. Andy has
never understand why farmers
spend so much of their valuable
time and money feeding, tending
and harvesting their crop, only
to then waste all that hard work
right at the most important time
because of a few pence, false
advice and not really knowing
the cost per bale. Rickerby and
Andy combined have provided
over the years a service to help
you make the best decision for
your crops, and they intend to
