for the animal. Already they
have been called to assist in
castrations, TB testing, mastitis
and mobility health. They
have even been to Shropshire
for just two cows; they
encourage customers to book
ahead although they will do
emergencies. Something that
has proved very successful is
their Sunday clinic which they
operate at Queensbury once
a month. Here, farmers can

is that bit bigger they can
accommodate all the bigger
animals and they even have a

believe or not - is a pet!
So despite having all the
right equipment I wondered if
they had experienced any hairy
moments?
Mandy admitted it can be
tricky. “You do go to some

to a farm to do a job and treat
a cow, and when the farmer
led it into the yard it promptly
bolted through another open
gate and went charging off
around 30 acres - and then
returned two weeks later as
if nothing had happened.
