Tadpole Time
Young children are naturally curious ! Encourage their curiosity through fun and interactive introductions to nature in our Tadpole Time programs ! Each month will focus on a different topic and feature native animals , stories , crafts , nature exploration , and ideas for continuing exploration at home !
Recommended for ages 2-5 years old with parent / guardian ( older siblings ages 6-7 are welcome to register also if they want to participate ).
COLORS OF MCCLOUD THURSDAY , MAY 12TH AT 10:00 A . M . McCloud Nature Park
There ’ s more than green to our park ! Explore McCloud Nature Park with a park naturalist to discover all the colors that abound . We ’ ll use fine motor skills and big muscle activities along with art projects and even a science experiment to learn more about color in nature !

WATER EVERYWHERE THURSDAY , AUGUST 11TH AT 10:00 A . M . McCloud Nature Park
Spend the morning with a naturalist playing in the water ! We will be experimenting with water to discover it ’ s properties . It will also be a good time to pull out the watercolor paints ! It only seems fitting that when we discuss water , we also talk fishing ! Grab your beach towel and sunscreen and join us for a morning of water discovery at McCloud Nature Park !
