Lena didn’ t want to sleep through her final season. She wanted to live it. And she still is.

To be trusted in someone’ s final season is one of the greatest honors of my life. It is a reminder that nursing is not only about the science of healing, but the sacredness of witnessing. To hold space. To listen. To walk alongside.
Lena, you are sunlight, strength, and sacred fire.
Thank you for letting me walk beside you. Your story is still being written, and it’ s a gift to witness.
