playing while helping me stay loose and limber . Cannabis also helps me with my anxiety and depression more than anything else has . It lets me take on the day with a positive mindset and motivation to accomplish my goals . Lastly , cannabis really helps me get out of a rut if I ’ m feeling stuck on music I ’ m practicing or working on . If I take a quick break and smoke to clear my head , it ’ s a lot easier to come back with a refreshed feeling to give it another shot in a better headspace . A lot of times , that feeling of being stuck just compounds on itself , and cannabis helps reset that for me .

What current band collaborations or places are you performing ? The Phantastics , Kadesh Flow , Lucas Parker , Jessica Paige , The Piaget Experience , and Calvin Arsenia . I will also take a lot of sub gigs or one-offs with different musicians in town and play with anyone I can . Over the coming months , I will be performing at The Phoenix Jazz Club with the Piaget Experience every Saturday from 4:30-8:30 p . m .
Who are your favorite local bands outside of yours ? Project H , Lonnie McFadden , Blair Bryant , KC Green , Marcus Lewis Big Band ’ s Brass and Bougie , Jackie Myers , and Eddie Moore .
