In the past , when a person had to take a great deal of risk and marijuana was very valuable , grow techniques were geared towards maximum production . We won ’ t have to worry about that because even though we could get more , we will still get more than enough flower . To get started , you need to set aside around $ 600 and find some available space . You need a six-by-six-foot area in a secure locked space to which you and only you have access . If there is a vent from a central heating and cooling system , it will help with ventilation and temperature control . You will also need a small , adjacent work area to fill containers with dirt and perform various tasks in the garden . A shelf or two to store nutrients and water buckets is not necessary , but it is useful .
My grow is coming along nicely , and it won ’ t be long before harvest begins . You , too , can grow plants like these at home under the new adult-use laws .
