The center is being designed to enrich and grow internal and external diversity training and education , apply an equity lens around organizational consulting through audits and strategic planning , support internal and external faculty research and activities , and generate revenue for the College .
Diversity Higher Education Coalition
( St . Norbert College , UW-Green Bay , NWTC , Green Bay Area Public Schools )
This committee ’ s aim is to bring about a climate among the majority population of Brown County that embraces , celebrates , and promotes the growing ethnic and racial diversity of the region . This shall be reflected in the marketing of the region , its political decisions and discussion , and its economic , educational , and social actions .
Green Bay District Turbocharge Partnership
Turbocharge is a partnership between Green Bay Area Public Schools ( GBAPS ), Northeast Wisconsin Technical College ( NWTC ), and the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay ( UWGB ) with the goal of creating a college going culture . The partners aim to provide opportunities for all high school students to earn college credit toward a degree or certificate before they graduate .
In 2020 , Turbocharge created the below Equity and Access Teams to identify best practices and develop recommendations for effective processes / procedures to ensure ALL learners understand and can participate in Turbocharge opportunities that promote college readiness for all populations .

Wisconsin Technical College System ’ s Diversity , Equity , Inclusion Committee
NWTC participates in The WTCS Diversity , Equity , Inclusion Committee that is made up of members from each of the WTCS colleges who are dedicated to advancing equity and inclusion for students and staff .

Menominee Indian High School ( MIHS ) 4x4 Partnership
NWTC and Menominee Indian High School have partnered together for the last 8 years to offer students dual credit coursework . Students participating take one course at a time for four weeks and are working toward earning a General Studies Certificate from NWTC . To date , students have completed almost 1,000 college credits while in high school and have achieved over a 3.0 class GPA each year . Several students participating in this program have earned their NWTC degree and are now working at Menominee Indian High School or at another organization in their community .
