A radiator isn’ t that different from other engine coolers, so Aaron Radiator doesn’ t limit its output to its namesake.‘ Oil Coolers can be copied in aluminium. Original copper and brass or steel units can be recored to an identical specification as the original. Aluminium intercoolers with metal tanks can be recored simply by cutting off the tanks and welding them onto a brand new core. Intercoolers with plastic tanks can still be copied. Heater cores can be reconditioned and even upgraded to get more heat into the cabin of an old classic – heaters with plastic tanks can also be copied if they are unavailable new.
‘ We can also copy Seventies and Eighties air conditioning condensers. However, will need a sample to copy and often need to reuse the fittings and brackets from the old unit.’
Perfectly stable engine temperatures and a cool airconditioned breeze – or cosy warm air – flowing through the vents of a classic car was, for many years, a mythical situation. But, as Aaron Radiator knows, we no longer need to endure crusty old cooling systems, stress-inducing rising engine temperatures or, as it seems, any compromises.
