2022 Nebraska Multicultural Council Greeks Alumni of the year : This award and recognition are presented to a graduated sister of a Multicultural Greek Chapter with continuous contact with alumni and undergraduate members throughout the year . This member does her best to attend events , support her chapter , and give back through finances , time , and service , as well as through her personal and professional efforts . This alumni recipient supports forward movement and positive change within their chapter and the overall fraternity and sorority life communities . She truly defines joining a sisterhood as a lifelong commitment , not just four years .
It ’ s important to highlight the important work alumnae sisters are doing to support our undergrad sisters and to show it ’ s not for four years but for a life time !

On April 26 , 2023 , the esteemed Almighty Alpha Omega chapter was honored with a distinguished group service award . Despite its modest roster of merely three active members , this chapter dedicatedly contributed over 300 hours to community service initiatives . Undoubtedly , the Alpha Omega chapter stands as a testament to the adage " small but mighty ," exemplifying how impactful a committed and dedicated group can be , irrespective of its size .
