On June 5, 2015 Karla Cruz married Roberto Cruze in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico. It was a beautiful wedding filled with lots of love and happiness. They then went on their honeymoon to La Romana, Republica Dominicana, where we stayed at a resort for 7 beautiful days! At the end of June they moved to Tucson, AZ from Fort Collins, CO (where her husband completed his M.S. in Student Affairs at ColoState), Roberto started his job as a Community Director at the University of
Arizona in early July and Karla started her job as a Coordinator of Desk & Summer Operations at the University of Arizona. Much to celebrate!

Congratulations to Michelle C. Hoinsky from the Alpha Gamma chapter at California State University - Dominguez Hills on receiving her white coat from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Hoinsky is currently studying in the Doctorate of Chiropractic program.

Congratulations to Clara Varela from the Beta Epsilon chapter at Michigan State University who moved to San Diego and got engaged! Varela was recently hired for a graduate student worker position as a Project Coordinator for the CX3 project and will begin working at the Health & Human Services Agency in San Diego County, National City.
CX3 project focus on focuses on helping the community environment to have access to healthier foods, improving nutrition, physical activity and on obesity prevention.

On September 12, 2015 Lauren Elizabeth Parra of the lambda chapter held a baby shower for her older sister, Erin Stone (Parra)
from the Delta chapter. Several alumna sisters from Delta traveled 1.5 hours to attend the baby shower and celebrate her future son who is due in November. She looked so beautiful and so happy! Attached is a group photo of Delta sisters and one Lambda! (Lauren).
