Helena No. 7

Hello from Helena Assembly!

I am proud to report that we did a wonderful job at Relay for Life this year. It was Montana themed and we were the "Rainbow Expedition.” Mrs. Wells (a board member and my amazing mother) made awesome costumes. She was Sacajawea and my father, (also a board member) was Lewis or Clark. She also made adorable little hats for the girls who were Montana Wildlife. We had quite the zoo. We re-used our campsite decorations for the 3rd year in a row, making a lovely mountain landscape with a waterfall. Helena won the trophy for best costumes for the second time!

The Representative from Washington/Idaho, Miss Baylie Devlin came to Helena, so my mom and I took her and her lovely parents to lunch and then gave her a tour of the Consistory. It was very cool to meet a fellow Rainbow sister. We had a wonderful time with Baylie and her family.

We were also able to serve a dinner for Sapphira Temple #79's Official Visit on August 8th with our DeMolay Chapter.

Our lovely Sabrina has demitted from Helena No. 7 and joined Cherry Assembly in Salem, OR. I hear she is supposed to be installed on Monday, September 23. Exciting news for our sister!

We are still working on getting our girls wrangled up for meetings. We sure have some busy girls! I hope you are all having a lovely school year and hope to see you soon.

Rainbow Love,

Ivalon Wells
