D I A L O G U E “A glimpse into what's going on inside campus” The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people How would you accomplish the smooth running of the proposed technical university ? We are working on this reformation and would surely be able to see some of the effects from March 2014. What I find, the most important is, faculty recruitment. If we are concerned regarding, our student’s performance we must emphasize on one critical factor that has big impact on student achievements i.e. class instructions. Hence, our faculty needs to be the best. We will also try to bring some changes in the educational system so as to remove the unnecessary pressure which the students face presently. We have invested a substantial amount of money in all the departments for the better and up-to-date laboratory equipment and other reforms. Some programs under UGC and AICTE would be implemented which were not possible earlier. We may also change the mode of admission for the students. A separate exam may also be conducted. How would you anticipate the upgraded level of students in the future under proposed university? After our college becomes a university, the mode of admission could be changed. There are provisions, for a different mode of admission, other than from UPSEE. There will be laboratories with new improvised equipment which would help students by enhancing their practical knowledge . Being a part of the institution, it is also our responsibility to radically increase student’s performance and achievements. Apart from the theoretical knowledge, practical skills do play a very important role in the student's career. We will be having certain board members, who will work, and get the syllabus changed accordingly. Also faculty members can be sent for training to other institutes. This would further help the students, by providing them the right guidance.
