There is a pretty good spread of equipment here, and I particularly like the amount of power/squat racks they have. There were less than half of them being used at any given time when I was there, but

I’m assuming the others get more attention during peak hours.

Equipment available- This gym seemed to be similar to most City rec centres in the sense that there is nothing really noteworthy and special here, but then again they have everything that you’d expect at a mid-grade gym.

Adjustable barbell weight increments- For regular plates, you have the 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 35, and 45 pound increments. There were no bumper plates or steel plates.

Fixed weights- Fixed barbells come in straight bar AND easy curl varieties and differ by 10lbs up to 110lbs. Dumbbells go up to 125lbs with the regular increments between weights (usually 2.5lb

increments for lower weights, and 5lb increments for higher). Kettlebells, medicine balls, and wall balls have sufficient variety in weight to meet your needs.

Re-racking- Re-racking looked really good at this facility, even for the smaller portable items.

Mirrors- There are a lot of fixed mirrors here as well as some mobile ones on wheels. Plenty to go around!

Proportions of equipment available- The proportions of equipment here seem to be appropriate, but I’d also say that the cardio area had the highest usage rate.
