What?!? Diner food that is healthy for you?

Then we need to talk about the “Sin of Man” buns… O.M.G. amazing! Normally you have regular cinnamon buns, or cinnamon buns with cream cheese. The “Sin of Man” buns are the best of both worlds combined. They are so very sinful, ooey gooey goodness. Mine was still warm from the oven when I got it. Lucky girl!

Now can you imagine having to put both of these in a car and drive back to work with the delicious aromas wafting around the car? Me either! It was a very difficult drive back.

When I finally got to enjoy my food, it was so good. The patty was moist and flavourful, paired with that home made bun and the fixin’s, it disappeared quite quickly. Their “Viking Sauce” is their version of a secret sauce. It’s good on anything. I have no idea what’s in it, just try it on your Viking Fingers. I actually had to wait to consume that cinnamon bun because I didn’t have enough room.

The delicious smell of the bun sitting on my desk for most of the afternoon was almost too much to endure. I have not tasted one quite like this. As above it is a combination of the two classics that you would expect. It is a flavour explosion in your mouth. The gentle pairing of the cream cheese and the cinnamon glaze just heats up those taste buds. No wonder these don’t last long!

Happy Viking serves breakfast and lunch. Glenn and Rose are there from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Saturday they are open from 8 am to 1 pm. Closed Sundays.

Happy Viking is a local business that loves supporting local. I hope that you will join me in enjoying their food soon.
