The atmosphere here is great! There are very large south facing windows for really great natural

lighting, and there are plenty of mirrors as well. The audience is generally pretty young and friendly, and

there is usually some sort of upbeat music playing.

Audience- The audience is comprised mainly of students, but there also some MacEwan staff and community members that use this facility. There’s a pretty wide range of Olympic lifters, powerlifters,

and bodybuilder-style lifters, although there are very few functional fitness enthusiasts as the space available is not very conducive to that.

Air flow- Air flow is really good! It’s never stuffy in here. In fact, sometimes when I walk in, it’s a bit chilly, but after a couple minutes of moving around, it seems like the perfect temperature.

Business level- As mentioned, business level can be very high during school days in the afternoons and evenings. Aside from this, it can be really comfortable here..

Lighting- Natural lighting is supplied by the south facing windows, as well as excellent overhead lighting.

Music- Usually upbeat, but can range from anything like classic rock to pop, depending who is controlling the stereo that day.

Televisions- There are a few TVs throughout, all of which usually have the most relevant sporting events on.

Staff- Staff here are insanely friendly. That’s what I like most about this facility. They’re so genuine and easy to talk to, and many of the front desk staff will begin to remember your name if you come here pretty regularly.

Overall comfort- Overall, I feel very comfortable in this gym aside from the peak business level times as it can feel somewhat cramped.
