The milks become a fresh drink when it is kept
refrigerated (not frozen) while retaining its natural
characteristics such as smell, taste and texture. The
vegetable milk is made to prepare different dishes and
accompanying breakfasts, such as bowls with fruits,
juices, main meals in soups or obtaining different and
healthy dishes for the family. The life time is about 3 to 4
days when they are prepared at home.
Vegetable milk has become a healthier alternative to
animal milk. There are many nutritious benefits and cad
replace sugary drinks. Furthermore, vegetable milk can
also be made conveniently at home to keep its freshness
if desired. I expect an increase to the popularity of
vegetable milk in the years to come. One of the best
examples in Colombia that leads the manufacture of
vegetable milks is Thea Gaea a project that was formed in
Bogotá 4 years ago using cashew seeds brought by
Vichada They also use Almonds that are imported by
Chile.
