1.Write down your goals for the summer and organize these goals according to importance. Make sure it's realistic and flexible, so that you can always go back and remove some withering goals and add newly-emerged goals. Start one-by-one.

2. Narrow down your list of dream universities, find out wha their requirements are and make sure to motivate yourself to achieve them.

3.Introduce yourself to your chosen subject syllabuses and work on the subjects that you truly want to get high marks in (hint: this should be all of them!).

4.Practice. Practice. Practice; this is something I wish I had done. Practice on your weaknesses, whether in terms of a language or any other subject, as well as study habits and methods.

5.Learn to manage your time, because if you don’t, you will face so many difficulties in achieving high marks during exams.

6.Remember that everything will pass, so dedicate yourself and achieve everything you ever wished for.

Stressing over the arrival of the new semester will be pointless, so face it head on with confidence and only aim for the very best. Work on your weaknesses, the most difficult subjects and areas where you find yourself lacking.

The minute you accept IB for what it is (i.e; just another stepping stone on your climb to success) and realize that–despite it being a frightening monster–it is something you can overcome, and you can succeed in with flying colors. Don’t waste your summer, come back in the fall well-prepared to succeed and get those 7s! .
