no: I won't give you the satisfaction of sucking the life out of us, because you know what? Today, right after I finish studying for my Julius Caesar quiz, I’ll call my friend and tell him let’s go to turtle green and look at the hot university guy working there, then go to Mr. Batata (with the most delicious and cheapest French fries with the best dips and the funniest owner), on the way buy a new book and stay up all night to finish it, because in the morning I’ll be exhausted and simply…happy.
And I know I’m going to be an IB student next year , but I don’t fear it, because I know if I hang on to that little thread that connects us to the world, I won't be lost. If I keep on looking for the happy and good stuff, I’ll eventually find my way back. So, at the moment I go in to take my first external exam, I’ll take a deep breath and find comfort in knowing I studied my heart out and I had fun till I was exhausted and I enjoyed my high school years. So take a leap of faith, my friend: finish studying; finish that book and have a good night with the best dreams of everywhere you’ll go to in the future.
