characters to choose from, all of which originate from diverse communities, are presented in unbiased viewpoints that highlight the strength of their own cultures. This shedding of stereotypes and discrimination is not restricted to ethnicities alone, but is surprisingly observed in terms of gender and belief as well.

In visual terms, Overwatch embodies a particularly unique style of graphics that is very appealing in its whimsical nature, and is primarily evident in the construction of the characters. The heroes are clearly distinct from each other in a manner that effectively showcases each one’s personality, origin and identity. This distinctiveness is also represented in the various maps available for selection, each portraying a futuristic adaptation of numerous global cities. All in all, the graphical formosity of Overwatch is an inspiration and fine example of to concept art, and most importantly, it is not very taxing to older systems, as it is easy to maintain 60 fps using an i5 series and a GeForce GTX 660 at medium to high settings.

In terms of gameplay, which is of course the most vital element in any video game, Overwatch includes the most fluid and entertaining first-person combat system I have ever experienced in a MOBA-themed game. The expansive arsenal of weapons available split amongst the heroes are so exceptional, they are able to carry the gameplay to greater lengths, as well as form an intimate relationship with their wielder that further accentuates their individuality. The fast-paced action within Overwatch is maintained by the playstyle of the provided roster, establishing itself as a video game to entertain everyone.
