THE EAGLE PRESS Upon reading my article , some people might be sceptical about the claims that I have made . However , there is clear and logical evidence to support my argument ( s ). Below are two photographs encompassing the exact same space of land in the Xinjiang region . One taken in 2015 and another in 2018 . From a barren desert in 2015 , an entire building complex has been generated by April 2018 . It was only in August 2018 , when the first credible evidence of China detaining these Uighurs was exposed . If anyone tries to go near this area ( I recommend that you don ’ t ), they will notice that there is a heavy police force and people in the region are afraid to even talk about it . If in theory , this is a ‘ re - educational school ’ where Uighurs are taught to change their thoughts , why would you need such a heavy police force ? The Chinese government can call it all they want , but as rational and decisive human beings , we know that this is not a ‘ re - education ’ camp but rather a camp where they are taught to renounce their faith . Chinese state television has created staged interviews inside the school while no student ever seems to ‘ graduate ’. In the region previously , there have been harsh policies implemented to curtail Islamic identity and practice such as banning long beards , headscarves and more practices . In general , the Communist Chinese government has been promoting loyalty to the Communist Party above family and faith . This is why the Uighurs unique identity has unknowingly led them to these camps . However , people who have escaped these camps have given brutal accounts of the atrocious living conditions and the torture that is forced upon them . The camps are trying to delete the entire Uighur ‘ identity ’ from China in order to satisfy the uniformity goal that the Communist Party in China aims to achieve . ' TO DENY PEOPLE THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS IS TO CHALLENGE THEIR VERY HUMANITY " - NELSON MANDELA Ladies and gentlemen , I have given you the facts and eye - witness accounts of the terrible situation in China . The Uighurs might have a soft voice , but it is our duty to listen to all voices , no matter how faint or boisterous . The Uighurs are humans as well . If the Hong Kong protests can get so much coverage , then so can the Uighurs . Actually , if Donald Trump ’ s actions can come on international news more than a severe humanitarian crisis , there ’ s something clearly wrong . Never forget about what they are going through , and if you ever get the chance to raise awareness about them , please do . OCTOBER 2019
