Drama Club advisor Kyra Fitzgerald is very excited about the show and the students performances. “High School Musical is the perfect show for these students—it’s a reflection of their lives and the struggles of growing up and the confining nature of cliques and expectations from fellow students and parents. It’s a fun exploration of growing up and learning about oneself, sprinkled with catchy music and fun dances perfect for their voices and talents! The cast and I will be also be sharing stories and moments about the process and preparing for the show. The preview will feature musical numbers and scene excerpts from the stage show, featuring some of the most popular songs from the hit Disney Channel Original Movie, all narrated and hosted by the Velvet Fog of East High, announcement whiz Jack Scott.” There will be two opportunities to see the cabaret, Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 both at 7 p.m. on the Hubbard hall mainstage.
