To every member of the SCBA: thank you for trusting me with this role, for your engagement, and for being part of something bigger than any one of us. Whether you attended a meeting, hosted an event, mentored a young lawyer, offered a word of encouragement, or volunteered your time, you made a difference.
I am also grateful to my colleagues who supported me during this busy year. Your encouragement allowed me to serve fully, and I am thankful for your understanding and constant support.
As we turn the page and welcome new leadership, I am filled with confidence about the future of the SCBA. We are in good hands. Our incoming President brings a wealth of experience, a deep understanding, and a strong commitment to advancing our mission.
I look forward to supporting Sara’ s vision and continuing to contribute to the work of the association in new ways.
To those who have not yet taken the opportunity to get more involved, I encourage you to take that step. Join a committee, attend an event, and reach out to a fellow member. You’ ll find, as I did, that the Sarasota County Bar Association is more than a professional organization, it’ s a community.
In closing, I would like to thank you for the honor of serving as your President. It has been an enriching experience, one filled with growth, challenge, collaboration, and joy. I am proud of what we’ ve accomplished together, and I leave this role with a full heart.
