Short-Term Legal Services for Civil Cases
ATTORNEY REGISTRATION INFORMATION
SkylawSRQ provides an opportunity for those in need of legal services in non-criminal civil matters to obtain a consultation with a member of The Florida Bar at minimal expense.
One-hour virtual consultations for $ 125 are offered in five practice areas:
Civil Litigation Corporate & Business Law
Estate Planning & Guardianships
Family Law
Property Law
100 % of the fee goes to the attorney. All sessions are scheduled by clients online at SkylawSRQ. com. Calendar and open appointments are updated regularly based on attorney availability in each practice area as submitted to program administrators.
How it works:
• Attorneys register online to provide counsel in up to five practice areas( Open to attorneys who practice in the 12th Judicial Circuit)
• Attorneys provide monthly or quarterly( preferably recurring) availability to the Skylaw team, or can choose to be on standby
• Client reserves appointment online and fills out client / case information form
• Client information is sent to the corresponding attorney based on selected practice area + time slot
• Attorney contacts client with payment options
• Client completes payment and meeting is confirmed
• Attorney sends virtual meeting details to client
• Virtual consultation is held with client
• Attorney may continue to work with client on their own terms

Consultations scheduled through Skylaw are designed for legal matters that are short-term and do not require a long-term contract with a lawyer. Skylaw attorneys can explain statutes and rules of procedures, possible claims and defenses, or discuss the best way forward for clients who elect to take legal action or complete forms without counsel. Other areas of law may be added in the future as the program develops and grows.
SkylawSRQ services are offered as authorized by Florida Bar Rule 4-6.6. The program is designed to complement The Florida Bar’ s Access to Justice initiative with a mission to provide professional services to an underserved population.
