1. Honor Rest as Scared and a Non-Negotiable Appointment Just as God rested on the seventh day( Genesis 2:2), you too are called to rest. Block“ Me Time” in your calendar and honor it as you would any important appointment.
2. Use the Power of Routines Start and end your day with God. Create rituals like prayer, devotion, journaling, or quiet time. Aligning yourself daily with God bring peace and clarity.
3. Set Clear Boundaries with Grace Determine your work schedule, communicate it, and stick to it. Boundaries are biblical( Proverbs 25:28); they safeguard your purpose and peace.
4. Delegate and Let Go You were never meant to do it all. Ask for help and automate what you can. Even Moses needed support( Exodus 4:10-16)
5. Unplug to Reconnect Take regular breaks from screens to reconnect with God, yourself, and loved ones.
6. Honor Your Rhythms Listen to your body. Planning your more tasking work, according to your energy cycles is honoring God’ s temple( 1Corinthians 6:19-20)
7. Feed Your Spirit Spend time doing what fills your soul: read, create, walk, rest. Let it draw you closer to God.
8. Take Mini Retreats Jesus withdrew to pray and rest( Luke 5:16). So, you should too. A change of scenery renews the mind.
9. Say“ No” Without Guilt“ No” is a complete sentence. Let your“ no” make room for God’ s best yes( Matthew 5:37).
10. Reflect and Reset Regularly ask: Am I refreshed or drained? Adjust your schedule as needed. God invites you to rest and be renewed( Matthew 11:28-30).
