Anne’s nifty printing idea by Anne Rogers Fed up with tedious pattern tracing? Well, did you know you can print or photocopy directly on to tracing paper, simply using your printer?  Tracing paper ready to go - smooth edge down towards printer, torn edge upwards All you need is an A4-sized sheet of reasonably good quality tracing paper (a weight of 90 gsm works well).  Place your sheet of tracing paper into the sheet- feed of your printer (tip: if you've torn it from a pad of tracing paper, make sure you place it with the free, smooth edge facing into the sheet-feed, as the rough, torn-off edge could snag the printer).  (see Photo) Now simply print your image directly from your computer exactly as you would print on to ordinary paper.  Alternatively, if your printer is also a scanner, you can scan your design directly onto the tracing paper.
