Now, even children work for pence. The factories and coal mines have adopted some disgusting form of slavery. Children work for next to nothing, and are not regarded as human workers, more as machines that they work along side. In the coal mines, they pull crates of black rock through cramped tunnel and stifling heat. In a civilization so advanced, how can we continue to use children in such barbaric ways?
