2016 gala dinner was held at the super chic Conrad St James hotel in central London on 8th October to raise awareness of and fundraise for two great causes … Orchid UK ( fighting male cancer ) and Carers UK .
According to Cancer Research UK , every year over 50,000 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate , testicular and penile cancer .
Of these men , over 47,300 ( 1 in 8 men of which 1 in 4 will be a black man ) will be diagnosed with prostate cancer ; over 2,296 will be diagnosed with testicular cancer and 622 will be diagnosed with the rare penile cancer .

The evening was organised by KML Events UK LTD and hosted by TV presenter Greg Scott . Guests were treated to entertainment from the flamenco pulses , magician Julian James and were introduced to a new song raising awareness by singer Cairo Benn , music producer and Brit Award winner Simon Ellis which also marks 21 years of Orchid UK . There was a silent and live auction , which included Usain Bolt ’ s racing trainers , a weekend on a yacht in the beautiful Manorca ; a Simon Carter watch , a weekend in Venice and much more .

The night ended with the DJ reminding guests that they were there not just to raise funds and awareness but to also celebrate the lives of the carers , who work tirelessly everyday , as well as all those who have suffered from but managed to beat the three deadly male cancers . He then invited everyone to get on their feet and onto the dance floor for a good old boogie .
