The Lensbury kicked off
2018 with the addition of eight deluxe double bedrooms, a brand new restaurant, deluxe ila spa and a unique children’ s soft play area finally completing the 20 million refurbishment.
The newly launched oak panelled Dunbar Restaurant has been a big success with private parties taking exclusive use. Chef Gerald Quadros and his new Dunbar team developed a beautifully enhanced menu based on their Award Winning Menu from The UK Cook Serve Competition. Quadros previously won Chef of the Year and was keen to share his knowledge with the new team. The Thames View Suite is Ros’ s favourite space for events as it was completely redesigned and launched with light bright flexible features to make The Lensbury the ideal multipurpose residential site for special events and sporting affairs.
The increased space, newly landscaped pond area and decked conservatory are already a big hit for weddings.
The uniqueness of The Lensbury by the river and so close to central London makes it ideal for residential conferences. With 4 * bedrooms to match all requirements and budgets, it is no surprise that The Lensbury is chosen by organisers from charities to overseas corporations.

It is not all business, however; Corporate Social Responsibility is a key priority for The Lensbury. The support offered to local charities is a mix of real cash donations plus free facilities, free accommodation and staff time. The latter two can often bring in thousands of pounds of match funding secured in the space of just one evening.
