t Martin-in-the-Fields is
a totally unique venue,
situated on the corner of
Trafalgar Square. Medieval
monks built the original
church as a place of rest
and refuge from their flocks
in the ‘fields’.
The fields have long
disappeared but today this
perfect location has eight
attractive and flexible event
spaces; from contemporary
meeting rooms to the
classic wood panelling and
contemporary glass, St Martin’s
Hall and Lightwell complement
each together seamlessly. The
Hall’s double height oak
panelled walls; crowned by
glass, make a stunning
backdrop for dinners,
receptions and meetings. The
adjacent Lightwell floods the
space with natural light and
can serve as a breakout space
for meetings, as well as
pre/post-event drinks
receptions.

THE CRYPT
The Crypt is St Martin’s most
exclusive space as it is only
available at certain times of the
year. Like the Gallery, its
stunning architecture and
lighting set the scene for
atmospheric events from grand
dinners to spirited parties. The
Crypt also has its own late
night license till 2am and a live
music license.
THE COURTYARD
This beautiful historic courtyard
is a newly available space. The
Courtyard is located in a quiet
tree-lined area just behind the
stunning St Martin’s Church
with lovely views of the church
exterior and Trafalgar Square. It
is a perfect place for a summer
MEETING ROOMS
St Martin’s meeting rooms are
ideally placed to accommodate
smaller gatherings. All rooms
benefit from natural daylight,
induction loops and wi-fi. The
Desmond Tutu Room, the
largest of the three, comes
equipped with air conditioning
and the Li Tim Oi and
Benenson have fresh air filters.
Conference calling facilities are
available in the Benenson and
Desmond Tutu rooms. Meeting
rooms can be booked
individually, as a suite of rooms
or as breakout spaces.
This is a truly wonderful venue,
which ticks all the venue hire
boxes. Mouth-watering menus
are provided by award-winning
in-house caterers, all spaces
are accessible and equipped
with free wifi and a full range of
AV and lighting packages are
available in-house and through
technical partners. St Martin’s
has a strong musical tradition
dating back to performances by
Handel and today any of their
resident choral ensembles are
available to hire for an event,
as well as chamber music
ensembles, jazz bands and
DJs.
