Ball Raises £75,000!
In total the evening raised a

were high as over 600 people
arrived at the Honorary
Artillery Company in the
heart of London to celebrate
the Lighthouse Club’s 60th
Anniversary at this year’s
Summer Ball in July.
The occasion was marked in
style along with long term
supporter, the CPA,
(Construction Plant-hire
Association) who were
celebrating their 75th
Anniversary.
The backdrop to the evening
was the sensational fun fair,
where guests twirled on the
carousel, bumped on the
dodgems and spun on the ferris
wheel, as well as trying their
luck on ‘hook a duck’ and
hoopla. The festivities ended
with live band, ‘Push the
Button’, getting everyone on the
dance floor to celebrate in style
and finish the evening on a
high.

Guests were welcomed with
champagne and cocktails in the
stunning orangery and crowds
spilled out to the garden to
enjoy the Summer evening. A
delicious three course dinner
followed whilst Dan Boyles
amazed his audiences with
mind blowing trickery and ‘Rat
Pack Swinging Live’ went down
a storm with people up on their
feet to classics such as, That’s
Amore and New York, New York.
The online silent auction fuelled
everyone’s competitive nature
and the star of the show, a ‘gold
digger’ donated by Kubota,
raised an amazing £26,000 !
