Church House
Conference Centre
Serves a Dream Tea
hurch House Conference
Centre hosted their
annual Tea Party, now a
tradition at the Westminster
venue, which this year had
extra significance as they
participated in Dreams Tea
Week. This is a national
fundraising campaign held
by Dreams Come True to
help realise the dreams of ill
children.
C
Church House’s clients were in
for a treat as traditional English
tea was served together with
summer garden inspired cakes
and deserts. As well as
enjoying the delicacies made
by their catering partner,
Harbour & Jones, guests were
also able to decorate their own
cupcakes with the help of the
caterer’s Head Chef, who
showed them some tricks of
the trade.
The afternoon tea also
supported the venue’s chosen
charity, Dreams Come True,
and guests took part in all sorts
of fundraising competitions
including predicting the weight
of a handmade fruit cake to
guessing the number of sweets
in the jar. In addition there was
an opportunity to win afternoon
tea at the Ham Yard Hotel.
Church House then matched
every pound raised during the
event enabling them to donate
over £300 to the charity.
Church House General
Manager, Robin Parker,
commented, “Our annual Tea
Party was a great success, and
was made even more special
Dream Tea in support of Dreams Come True.
through our support of Dreams
Tea Week. Events like this not
only give us the opportunity to
showcase our event spaces but
also the culinary expertise of
Harbour & Jones. This event is
one of many we will be holding
to support Dreams Come True
over the coming months and
we are delighted so many
people donated towards such a
worthwhile cause.”
Church House Conference
Centre is an AIM Gold

19 event spaces
