had not set high expectations
and the red was surprisingly light
in colour, though still young, for
a wine from the grape used to
make meaty Riojas. Then it
warmed in the mouth to a more
velvety richness becoming quite
enjoyable.
erhaps its the rarified
environment of Fulham
rather than the raw and
trendy style of Soho’s China
Town but I’ve come to expect
Dim Sum to be served to me
catapulted across the table
with ‘barked’ comments from
the serving staff rather than
the lovely polite service at
Royal China Fulham. My
friend Peter, and his
stunningly beautiful daughter
Nayantara, praise the Dim
Sum at Royal China Baker
Street, hence our plan to visit
the Baker Street restaurant
to see if the whole of Royal
China has a different culture
to other Chinese restaurants.
Also being a
