Rants:
How
modern
pop-‐culture
decays
the
American
image
and
individualism.
It’s
no
doubt
that
radio
and
television,
in
its
earliest
age,
worked
wonders
in
epitomizing
the
American
identity.
But
the
technology
that
was
our
salvation
in
the
dark
ages
of
world
wars
and
the
cold
war,
proved
to
be
a
destructive
disease
in
the
modern
era.
As
much
as
we
hate
to
admit
it,
we
are
products
of
everything
and
everyone
else
in
society.
From
the
way
we
dress
to
the
way
we
think,
we
are
all
refined
products
of
social
engineering.
It’s
the
way
mankind
works.
Think
about
the
greatest
generation;
raised
in
the
early
twentieth
century.
The
‘celebrities’
of
the
day
were
naturalists,
explorers,
and
leaders
like
Roy
Chapman
Andrews,
John
Muir,
and
Theodore
Roosevelt
