TULSA , Okla . – If there ’ s one musician out there who bridges the gender gap for music , political views and all-around toughness , it ’ s P ! NK .
Known for her strong voice , no holds barred lyrics as well as her wild stage antics , costumes and ability to sing while being propelled through the air on ribbons , P ! NK is also a voice for young women everywhere , power groups and political movements be damned . P ! NK don ’ t need no stinking groups to back her words , she ’ s got this , boys . Just like a female lion ,

she ’ s more than growl . Having performed at the Grammys in a white sweatshirt and jeans , sans shoes , P ! NK showed them all that she ’ s not all flash and no substance , but she ’ s a force to be reckoned with . And we could fill a bunch of magazines with her toughness stories .
But what we love most about her is that she ’ s not tough in a Kardashian reality show way . P ! nk is all bad-ass . Making the rest of the music industry sit up and take notice , or at least behave themselves , if you want honest and direct , this is a woman who won ’ t pull punches or add sugar to make her statements more palatable . And that ’ s half of her draw .
Providing a long history of P ! NK ’ s successes , years of fighting her way to where she is today , her battles with this thing and that person , is all menuscia now , because she ’ s kept true to her values and views . If you don ’ t like it , then , well , who cares ? In this time of sell-outs , suck-ups and bullies , P ! NK is a splash of color in a world of dull greys . And it carries into every one of her shows . Even if her music doesn ’ t get your attention her attitude will .
P ! NK will be at the BOK Center Mar . 5 ; maybe there ’ s a nosebleed seat to be had at a crazy price , but it never hurts to try , right ? Tickets range from $ 47 - $ 207 , but we didn ’ t find any opening acts listed . Doors open at 6 p . m ., show starts at 7 p . m .
Lorde is not screaming the place down , but she ’ s not a totally docile lamb and most of her fans are okay with that . What Lorde brings with her is a
